Jennifer Russell has been a major force with the Advanced Coronary Treatment (ACT) Foundation of Canada since 2006. As Director of Operations, she has played a key role in the establishment of the ACT High School CPR and AED Program in over 1,800 high schools across Canada resulting in over 5 million youth empowered to save lives. Now she plays a vital role in enhancing the CPR Program with opioids awareness education and overdose response training.
Her responsibilities range from overseeing public awareness campaigns, program promotion and fundraising, and program implementation at the national level as well as locally in urban, rural and remote communities. She has played a leading role in the development of multiple communication tools and training resources including presentations, classroom CPR and AED training resources, ACT's website, social media, eLearning and dynamic media events with a multitude of stakeholders. She is also a certified CPR Instructor.
