Dr. David C. Berry is a licensed athletic trainer with 25 years of clinical-based practice and higher education experience. As a Professor of Kinesiology at Saginaw Valley State University, Dr. Berry teaches injury assessment, therapeutic modalities, and emergency response management courses. He has published, lectured, and developed workshops at the state, regional, and national levels for athletic trainers and other healthcare professionals on numerous topics, including emergency trauma management, aquatic therapy, and healthcare leadership. He has co-authored several textbooks, including Emergency Response Management for Athletic Trainers and Joint Mobilizations: A Cram Session. And he has researched and mentored student research in aquatic therapy. He is an active member of the American Red Cross at the National level serving on the Scientific Advisory Council. He is a member of the American Heart Association's ILCOR first aid task force.
