Elizabeth Froelich is the Data Manager for Illinois Heart Rescue (ILHR) and the Illinois State Coordinator for Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival (CARES). Before joining ILHR, Elizabeth was the Commander assigned to one of the busiest ambulances in the nation (A10, Chicago Fire Department) that responded to over 8,000 calls annually, many of which were mass casualty responses. In addition to serving as a first responder, she has been an EMS educator for over 15 years, lecturing on diverse topics. Within her role at ILHR, Elizabeth is also a researcher at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), focusing on cardiac arrest and public health.
