Richard Price is the founder and president of the PulsePoint Foundation, a public 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation responsible for the U.S. community first responder app PulsePoint Respond and PulsePoint AED registry for cardiac arrest call processing.

Prior to PulsePoint, Price served as the Fire Chief for the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District in California. Price has a strong technical background and is well known for using digital technology to shape management processes and encourage civic engagement. He is a Government Technology's Top 25 innovator in the public sector, an American Heart Association “Heart of Gold” honoree, and a JEMS EMS10 Innovator of the Year.
