Learning Objectives:
Today, many people hesitate to learn, and administer CPR when required, because of the fear of breaking ribs or legal hassles and police harassment, because of which the awareness on CPR is just 2% in India; but after this session, if they get to save the life of the victim, who for all that matters, might be their loved ones [as nearly 80% of the cardiac arrests happen at home], they would not fear any other eventualities if in the process they are saving his life. They would block out everything else and translate this knowledge into action by getting down on their knees and saving the life of their loved ones.
Take-home messages for the attendees would be that if he delays in starting CPR, post-survival consequences would be disastrous and that everything else should take a backseat, when he tries to do something to save the life of his loved ones.
