Loralee Olejnik, MA, EMT-B has fourteen years' experience in Fire and EMS outreach, serving for more than a decade on the San Diego Project Heart Beat Public Access Defibrillation Program. As a BLS CPR instructor, she has not only certified persons in CPR but has been part of mass CPR trainings that have taught thousands of people hands-only CPR and AED. She served as a law enforcement AED liaison at Project Heart Beat, helping law enforcement agencies establish and maintain AED programs, a role that earned her an Exceptional Performance Citation from San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. Her professional interests are first responder wellness and the San Diego Fire-Rescue Girl's Empowerment Camp, a 2-day experience designed to expose teens to careers in public safety. She currently serves as a health educator for a non-profit organization.
