Valerie Riley received a Bachelor of Science in Health Science degree from Georgia Southern University. She is a Nationally Certified Health Education Specialist with over 19 years of experience in Community and Public Health Program Management. Throughout her career, Ms. Riley has led programming efforts in worksite health, chronic disease management, nutrition, community health impact, cardiovascular health, and tobacco use prevention within health systems and public health settings. She is currently the Senior Program Manager at The American Heart Association, managing the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry grant.
