Fran Lesicko is a 31 year chronic survivor of SCA. she arrested in the stairwell of her clinic where she happened oto be for a wel-lbaby check with her 3 month old baby. Her son's crying saved her life. Fran has had 5 ICDs so far and has experienced many ICD shocks, both inappropriate and appropriate. She is a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota. She is on the Board of the Minnesota SCA Survivor Network, and coordinated the COPE peer support program through the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association. Fran is admin of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Survivors Facebook group. She facilitates monthly Zoom meetings for SCA survivors and co-survivors. Fran is a founding member of HeartSight. She is an avid sea kayaker and camper, a Leave No Trace Master Educator and a 2 time cancer survivor. Fran is semi-retired and trains and mentors mental health professionals.
