For the past 20 years, Dr. Doshi has been a clinician, educator and researcher in the fields of emergency medicine and cardiac arrest. In 2007, he founded the Post Arrest Reanimation Service at Allegheny General Hospital and in 2010, he joined UPMC and the PCAS team. Since 2019, he has been clinical director of this unique service line across the UPMC network of hospitals.
Dr. Doshi has authored or co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in the field of cardiac arrest care. He has lectured nationally and internationally on this subject. Additionally, he is an accomplished educator and mentor for undergraduate students, medical students and graduate medical trainees. He has been awarded multiple teaching awards and has been recognized as a Chair Elect of the selective University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Academy of Distinguished Medical Educators.
