Michael Sayre has served as Medical Director for the Seattle Fire Department since 2014. He conducts research to improve survival from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and was the founding program director for the University of Washington Fellowship in EMS Medicine. He contributes to the Resuscitation Academy and the Global Resuscitation Alliance. He is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Washington.
