Dr. Perman is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She obtained her medical degree from Temple University, completed her emergency medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a Resuscitation Research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Center for Resuscitation Science. Dr. Perman is an active member of the American Heart Association. She is a member of the Denver Board of Directors, chair of the 3CPR Council, co-chair of the Resuscitation Science Symposium and a member of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care Science subcommittee. Dr. Perman receives research funding from the NIH and the Emergency Medicine Foundation. Her clinical interests are focused in post-cardiac arrest care and her research is focused on disparities in cardiac arrest outcomes, complex decision making in post-cardiac arrest care, survivorship and neuroprognostication.
