Steven B. Tannenbaum is an attorney and an SCA survivor in 2009.
He is an AHA certified CPR/AED instructor and has trained more than 10,000 people. He has spoken and written nationally regarding CPR/AED protection from liability afforded by Good Samaritan Laws and has contributed to legislation nationally.
He is National Vice-chair of Parent Heart Watch. a Board of Directors Member of the Louis J. Acompora Memorial Foundation and of the Dominic A. Murray 21 Memorial Foundation. He is a past board chair of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association.
He is the 2010 recipient of the Louis J. Acompora Memorial Heart Saver Award, the 2011 recipient of the American Heart Association Special Recognition Community Outreach Award, the 2012 recipient of the SCAA Chairman’s Award, the 2013 recipient of the Dominic A. Murray 21 Memorial Foundation’s Save a Child Award, the 2015 American Heart Association Heart Saver Award and the 2016 Parent Heart Watch Founder’s Award.
