An experiential educator, he believes we bring our whole selves into every day and one-in-a-lifetime events, including our mental, physical, social, and spiritual capacities. Approaching life from learning through mistakes, identifying talents, and developing resources for individuals and communities he works to strengthen resilience. His scholarship of implementation engages evidence-based practices in First Aid & Resuscitation, which rests on the shoulders of others who make mistakes too. He is also a Master Instructor Educator for the International Federation of Red Cross/ Red Crescent Societies, where he advocates and lobbies for first aid systems worldwide. He maintains his street cred as a Senior Fire Fighter/ EMT in Hudson and Wilderness Emergency Management Instructor.
