Dr. Kendra Hoepper, DNP, APRN, PNP-BC, a healthcare provider for 40 years has dedicated her research and scholarship to improving health awareness among youth and adults in the community. She was co-founder of a domestic violence ministry that provides education programs on IPV and helped to establish a free high school pre-participation sports physical exam program, which included EKG screening for high school student-athletes. Dr. Hoepper currently dedicates her efforts to increasing community awareness about sudden cardiac arrest. She has been a co-investigator on the Expanding the Campus-Wide Sudden Cardiac Arrest Safety Project, which provides the AHA’s Hands-Only CPR education and training in various community settings. Dr. Hoepper is committed to the mission of the Citizen CPR Foundation. She serves as Co-Chair/ Community Liaison on the Heart Safe Community Project Research Team. Dr. Hoepper has presented her research at numerous local, national, and international conferences.
