Carole Zarcone DNP, APRN, ANP-C, is an Associate Professor in the Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral Nursing Programs at Molloy College. Carole practices as a Nurse Practitioner in Interventional Cardiology at St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn. Her nursing career has been focused on the care of cardiac patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She has dedicated her doctoral studies to improving cardiovascular patients’ outcomes by providing medication reconciliation education and CPR and AED education in the community. Dr. Zarcone presented her collaborative research “Expanding a Campus-wide Cardiac Arrest Safety Net” at the NPACE conference in Boston and The Helene Fuld Evidence-based Practice National Summit where her poster was awarded 2nd place. . As an assistant chair to the Heart Safe Committee at Molloy University Carole organizes Hands-only CPR/AED events for the University and Community at large.
