Sharon Burns has been involved in teaching adults most of her professional career and has been active in the safety community teaching CPR for more than 30 years. Since forming First Aid Ed. in 2005, she has taught first aid, CPR, bloodborne pathogens, babysitting basics and various safety seminars to more than 3000 students annually in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. She currently represents Health and Safety Institute, American Heart Association, National Association of Search and Rescue, American Red Cross, and has previously held instructor certification with National Safety Council, all nationally recognized leaders in the health and safety industry.
She holds a Masters in Geriatric Psychology and developer of Unlocking Dementia, a virtual library for Dementia caregivers.
Her classes are informative and interactive, and in a non-stressful environment, students learn how not to panic in a panic situation.
