Kevin Seaman, MD, Charles County DES, graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and is a board-certified Emergency Physician, with subspecialty in Emergency Medical Services. His passion is saving maximal lives from cardiac arrest,. Since 2012, the Maryland RA has held over 38 courses, educating over 1900 clinicians in techniques to save maximal lives in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Dr. Seaman was a member of the American Heart Association Dispatch Telephone CPR work group developing and publishing Performance Measures for Telephone CPR.

As Executive Director of MIEMSS, he implemented a single EMS electronic patient care record across the state. In addition, he supervised the rollout of CARES, 24 EMS Operational Programs and all their corresponding acute care hospitals, to measure survival from cardiac arrest and implement strategies to maximize survival.
